IS THE FLOOR FLAT?

Modern construction and lease agreements require floor slabs to be built to specified maximum grades this could be something like 8mm vertical deviation per 3m horizontal. We have been engaged in this type of work by owners, lessees, concrete grinding companies and construction companies and have built up some pretty impressive processes that allow us to quickly and efficiently produce contour plans of the floor slabs.

The plan below has been produced with a 5mm contour and clearly shows the slabs ‘sag’ between the beams (at the top and bottom of the plan). All parties can quickly ascertain compliance or not with the particular specification and any remedial works can be planned, agreed and carried out to ensure all parties are satisfied.
